Ground Maintenance

The Association has retained Lawn Systems to provide grounds maintenance services to the community’s common areas. Under the contract, the scheduled for mowing should be as follows:

Start of Mowing season through June 30th.
No less frequently than sever (7) days apart.
July 1st through September 15th:
On a schedule of not less than seven (7) days nor more than ten (10) days apart.
September 16th through the end of the mowing season
On a schedule of not less than seven (7) days nor more than ten (10) days.

Regular Trash

The regular trash collection days are WEDNESDAY and SATURDAY at 7:00am. Trash should be placed out for collection on the night before or morning of each scheduled collection. Please do not place trash out for collection at any other time.
Trash containers should be stored behind or inside the home, except on days of collection.
Please do not place large items out for the regular trash collection. If you have a large item such as a piece of furniture that needs immediate disposal, please contact the City of Gaithersburg to schedule a bulk trash collection.
Please do not place hazardous materials such as paint, oils, or other similar items in the trash! It is against the law to dispose of such items in regular trash. Individual owners/residents must dispose of these materials at the County Transfer Station or at those special collection points advertised by the County. Contact call 311 for more information.

Recycling

The regular recycling collection day is TUESDAY. Recycling should be placed out for collection on the night before or morning of each scheduled collection. Please do not place recycling out for collection at any other time.
Recyclables must be placed in the recycling bin and/or cart provided by the City of Gaithersburg.
Recyclable materials include mixed paper, cardboard, aluminum/tin cans, glass bottles/jars and certain plastic containers.
Cardboard should be flattened and bundled or placed inside your recycling cart.
Paper recyclables should be placed inside your recycling cart.

Bulk Trash

Large trash items such as furniture and appliances must be prescheduled for collection by the homeowner or resident. The City of Gaithersburg offers free bulk trash collection services to Park Summit residents by appointment only. Snow Removal

General Snow Removal Responsibilities

The Condominium Association clears the stairs and lead walkways in front of the building and the HOA clears the common area sidewalks which run adjacent to the buildings. When clearing your parking space, please do not push the snow into the roadway as this makes it more difficult for the snowplows to do their work, requires more frequent plowing and may restrict access by emergency vehicles.

Streetlights

Streetlights in the community are the responsibility of the HOA. The Condominium is responsible for the lights located on the Condominium buildings as well as the lights located inside of the Condominium buildings. To report lights located on or inside of the buildings, please contact the community manager.
